Damian graduated from Queen’s University, Belfast in 2000 with an LL.B (Hons) degree in Law before qualifying as a solicitor in 2002.

After qualifying, Damian spent several years in private practice specializing in residential and commercial property and general private client work before joining the legal department of the Bank of Ireland’s Northern Ireland headquarters in Belfast.  During his time at the Bank of Ireland, Damian provided advice and support to the Bank’s branch network across Northern Ireland on a variety of issues such as compliance and regulatory risk, perfection of security, the renewal of product terms and conditions and litigation.

As GBR in-house lawyer Damian has provided advice and support at senior management level on a wide range of matters in support of the company’s business both domestically and abroad with a particular emphasis on landlord and tenant issues, management of new and existing leases and recovery of arrears.
